Testing of Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs)
Lucideon has the facilities and expertise to test structural insulated panels for a variety of applications, including SIPS for use in load-bearing walls, in floor and roofing applications, and when used as infill panels.
Testing can be carried out in our laboratories or the system can be evaluated and tested on-site.
We are able to design customised programs to evaluate the structural, thermal, acoustic, and fire performance of both individual panels and full systems.
With over 25 years of experience in testing and characterising SIPs, we also provide consultancy during the design process.
We assess the most critical test for a system and conduct that test first to enable us to advise on possible improvements before devising a full test program.
