Mandatory Carbon Reporting - Just the facts!

Broadcast Date: 24 October 2013

Mandatory Carbon Reporting (MCR) is now law and came into force on 1 October 2013. Companies that are listed on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange and possibly other exchanges have to report their GHG emissions annually in their Directors' report.

Following this announcement there has been much confusion as to how companies will be affected – what will need to be reported and how the MCR scheme links in with other schemes.

This webinar, presented by Shaun Bainbridge, Director at Lucideon CICS, will demystify MCR. With many years' experience of GHG emissions regulations and auditing, Shaun talks about:

  • the new regulations
  • who will be required to report
  • what emissions will have to be reported and timescales
  • the benefits of measuring emissions how MCR ties in with other schemes, such as EU ETS, ISO 50001 and Carbon Footprinting
  • what value independent verification brings.
