With the rapid rise in the space sector over the past 5 years, and the vision of Net Zero by 2050, key material challenges face the civil and space industries. Since advanced materials are being developed to withstand harsher environments, the need for extreme temperature testing is rising. 

Cryogenic testing is a branch of physical testing that describes investigating the properties of materials and products at extremely low temperatures, down to -196°C / -321°F. The development of hydrogen-fuelled aircraft, and the environment materials face in space, highlight the demand for cryogenic temperature testing.

  • Low Cycle Fatigue (LCF) and High Cycle Fatigue (HCF)
