Cryogenic Testing
With the rapid rise in the space sector over the past 5 years, and the vision of Net Zero by 2050, key material challenges face the civil and space industries. Since advanced materials are being developed to withstand harsher environments, the need for extreme temperature testing is rising. The development of hydrogen-fuelled aircraft, and the environment materials face in space, highlight the demand for cryogenic temperature testing.

Lucideon has the following mechanical testing capabilities at cryogenic levels that simulates the performance of materials in / to ambient:
- tensile
- low Cycle Fatigue (LCF) and High Cycle Fatigue (HCF)
- fracture Toughness
