Work Experience
Work experience opportunities are currently only available at our site in Stone, Staffordshire, UK
Lucideon offers two opportunities each year where you can apply to come and spend some time learning about what we do, and how we do it.
Due to high levels of applications, we will only be able to host work experience placements on the below dates:
Work Experience Week 1: 16th – 20th June 2025 (Applications close Friday 25 April)
Work Experience Week 2: 10th – 14th November 2025 (Applications close Friday 26 September)

Lucideon offers two pathways for work experience students to pick from, in order to maximise learning experience and to meet students’ interests. Please note that we can only host up to two students per pathway (four students in total):
- Science Pathway:
Two days with our Advanced Materials team and our AMRICC Academy (Stone, Staffordshire)
Two days with our Analysis & Evaluation team, including Formulations, Microbiology and Chemistry departments (Stone, Staffordshire)
One day with our Structures team (Penkhull, Stoke-on-Trent)
- Support Pathway:
1 day with each of our support teams: HR, Finance, Marketing, Sales and IT (Stone, Staffordshire)
Applicants must be in Year 12 or above and be able to commit to the above dates and locations.
Please submit an application prior to the deadline, detailing which dates you would prefer from the options, and which pathway you would prefer. We also ask that applicants complete a covering letter detailing why they have chosen Lucideon for their preferred work experience, and what they wish to gain from the experience.

Lucideon offers a variety of experiential opportunities across our business. All internships and/or placements will be advertised on our vacancies page.

Apprenticeships
Lucideon collaborate with several providers to offer apprenticeship schemes from Level 2, through to Level 6, and includes our exclusive Material Science Degree apprenticeship. Our apprenticeships offer prospective students the opportunity to learn on the job, whilst studying for a relevant qualification, enabling the combination of theoretical and practical training and education.

Graduate Roles
We welcome applications from graduates in Materials Science, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry and Biochemistry (or similar STEM degrees).
