Our Chosen Charity
We have been supporting local charities for many years and will now nominate a charity each year for our fund raising activities. We are proud to announce that Douglas Macmillan Hospice is our chosen charity for this year.
The Douglas Macmillan Hospice was established forty years ago and is located in Stoke-on-Trent. The charity provides a day hospice, hospice at home service, education centre and full range of clinical support services for adults suffering from incurable cancer and other life-limiting illnesses in North Staffordshire.

Jemma Raises £880 on 3 Peaks Challenge
Jemma Weaver, Business Support Assisstant, Lucideon CICS, performed the 3 Peaks Challenge on the 1st August to raise money and awareness for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice. Jemma, pictured in her red hat below, climbed Ben Nevis (4,409 ft), Scafell Pike (3,209 ft) and Snowdon (3,560 ft) in just 24 hours, raising an impressive £880 in the process.
Our generous colleagues produced a whole load of tasty cakes on the 28th September in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. The dedicated volunteers raised an incredible £221.55 through the sale of their very well received treats and a friendly "Spot the Cake" competition, well done and thank you to all involved.
Dress Down Day
Our fundraiser day on the 9th October raised £80.60 when we all dressed down for the day as part of the Douglas Macmillan Hospice's "Bring a Pound" day. A big thank you to everybody who donated.
