Overview
A test method for the measurement of the linear thermal expansion coefficient for the temperature range from ambient to 100°C.
Fixed rate of heating is applied, with a uniform distribution of heat.
Two specimens are tested, at right angles to one another.
It is necessary to make a previous calibration of the apparatus with a standard test specimen, the dimensions of which are the same as the test specimen.
