Thermal Shock Resistance of Ceramic Tiles - Test Method - BS EN ISO 10545-9:2013
Title
Ceramic tiles. Determination of resistance to thermal shock.
Overview
A test method for determining the resistance to thermal shock of whole tiles. Thermal shock resistance is determined by cycling between 15°C and 145°C.
Defects are assessed by viewing the tiles with the naked eye from a defined distance and light intensity.
A weak staining solution can be used to aid visibility of defects.
