Lucideon Appoints New Technical Manager for Construction
Lucideon is pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Grainger as technical manager for construction.
Matthew's role will involve ensuring the accurate and successful delivery of projects, as well as leading the growing mechanical engineering team in developing new processes, test methods and technologies.
A mechanical engineering graduate, Matthew has previously worked in Lucideon's construction laboratories and rejoins the business, following nearly 10 years with JCB and Land Rover.
Matthew said: "The construction laboratories here at Lucideon is a place I hold dear to my heart, as it was the first place I cut my engineering teeth on.
"I'm happy to be back and excited to apply as much of my experience as I possibly can, to push and grow Lucideon’s construction testing capabilities to the maximum potential. Providing even more solutions and guidance to both new and existing clients."
Joanne Booth, business manager for construction, added: "Matthew's return in the role of technical manager is the perfect appointment at the right time for the business.
"As a growing team, the role will be very important in helping us to maintain a high standard. Matthew's expertise and previous knowledge of Lucideon means that he's hit the ground running and we are very pleased to have him back on board."
Lucideon provides materials testing, development and consultancy services to a wide range of sectors. The construction laboratories are purpose-built for testing construction materials and structures, providing physical and chemical testing, environmental simulation, materials development and on-site testing.
