Lucideon to Present and Exhibit at the Ceramics UK Conference and Exhibition

Lucideon will be exhibiting and speaking at the 2019 Ceramics UK Conference and Exhibition in Telford, 10-11 July.

The free-to-attend event will focus on advanced ceramics and technical glass for a range of applications by showcasing the very latest in high-performance materials technology.

On stand 1417 Lucideon's Advanced Materials & Processes team will showcase their materials and processing expertise and cross-industry knowledge, to 'connect the dots' for businesses with processing challenges.

Flash Sintering technology can lower energy costs and increase manufacturing throughput, while also improving the mechanical and functional properties of materials.

Dr. David Pearmain, Flash Sintering business manager, will be giving a presentation during the conference. In 'Emerging and Developing Sintering Technologies', he will be talking about the potential of hybrid technology development.

Dr. Richard White, principal consultant for materials, will also be presenting at the event. The talk will look across a spectrum of material types and examples to show how testing requirements can be built up as a sequence of steps to characterize ceramics and their performance.

Tony Kinsella, CEO at Lucideon, will be presenting in the plenary session speaking about the UK ceramics market and future developments.  He said:

"We're excited to meet both new and existing clients during Ceramics UK.  Our business is all about building relationships with our clients to find out what their processing and materials challenges are, and then to help them solve them quickly and efficiently.  From materials development to sintering, and from additive manufacturing to yield improvement, we can help."
