Lucideon CEO to Join National Debate on Advanced Materials
The chief executive of Lucideon will be setting out the wealth of opportunities that advanced materials can bring to the UK economy at a major event this month.
Tony Kinsella will be speaking at the Insider ‘Made In The UK’ event, a two-day programme featuring an exhibition, conference and national awards dinner.
Drawing in leaders from across the UK manufacturing sector, the event takes place on the 21 and 22 July, at the BT Conference Centre, at Liverpool’s Kings Dock. More details can be found at www.insidermedia.com/made-in-the-uk.
The conference aspect will explore how, while the world’s emerging economies are gaining ground in knowledge and facilities all the time, the UK can maintain its competitive edge in advanced manufacturing.
Tony will join a panel of experts discussing how the development and production of materials will shape not just the manufacturing industry but the world around us in the session ‘Living In A Material World,’ one of 12 scheduled debates planned for the 22 July.
Tony said: “It’s a great opportunity to talk about a subject, which will grow in significance within the UK over the next few years.
“The US sees materials as the key technology of the 21st century and a real game changer.
“We need to set out how we can mirror the situation in the US and harness our country’s skills and technology to make the most of a lucrative industry, which could have a profound effect on the nation’s economy.”
