Lucideon Appoints New Technical Sales Consultant for Nuclear
Lucideon has recruited a new Technical Sales Consultant for Nuclear, David Barrientos.
David's primary focus will be to support Lucideon's continued growth, as well as finding new opportunities in the USA nuclear industry.
With a BSc in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Florida, David's past roles lie in nuclear fuels engineering. Areas of experience include detrimental materials, stress corrosion cracking and commercial grade dedications for nuclear fuels operations.
Prior to joining Lucideon, David was employed by Duke Engineering. During his time at Duke Engineering, David worked within the Spent Fuel Management Group where he dealt with spent fuel and the Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) for the Duke Nuclear fleet. David was responsible for the fuel characterisation of the entire spent fuel pool at Crystal River Unit 3 during the transition from wet to dry storage.
Whilst at Duke Engineering, David also worked in the Brunswick Nuclear Design Group, monitoring and modelling the reactor core to maintain safe and efficient operations.

Lucideon supports the nuclear industry in a wide range of areas, from new materials development for waste treatment, comprehensive materials testing and analysis, and failure analysis, to complex corrosion studies and assessments.
All services are delivered to Lucideon's comprehensive quality assurance program, which is compliant with 10CFR50 Appendix B, ISO 17025 and Nadcap.
