Lucideon Adds New Refractories Training Module to the 2017 Schedule
Lucideon has designed a new training module, ‘QC During Refractory Installation’ specifically for the refractories, refineries, petrochemical and power generation industries.
The one day course will be held on Friday 19 May 2017 at the Lucideon headquarters in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. Using theory and case studies, the course will cover quality control for all aspects of monolithic, castable and brick refractory installation.
Jan Theron, Refractories Specialist and Course Tutor at Lucideon, said:
"There are many complex factors that can help to ensure a successful refractory installation, including project schedules, team skills, equipment and cost, to name but a few. This module has been designed with quality control in mind, not just from a testing point of view, but the whole installation process."
With demands and pressures, such as increased performance and the need for lower maintenance and life cycle costs on refractory installations becoming greater, there is a real need for companies to understand these factors and how they can impact on quality control during refractory installation.
