It's National Apprenticeship Week... meet Nena Lawrence
Nena Lawrence works in the Administration team at Lucideon.
She tells us why she chose to do an apprenticeship and what it has entailed so far.
"I applied for the apprenticeship vacancy at Lucideon as it would enable me to study for a qualification alongside working.
"I have been attending Newcastle-under-Lyme College once a week to complete exams and coursework for a BTEC in Business Support and Administration. The completion of my apprenticeship is upcoming, and I should be looking forward to a full time position at Lucideon in my administrative role.
"I am responsible for reporting all Testing work at Lucideon, as well as administrative responsibilities and providing business support to the company. Being a part of the Admin team suits me as I like to be organised, and I enjoy all the different aspects of the job, as well as interacting with my colleagues.
"Outside of work, I enjoy day and overnight trips that include walking, shopping, sightseeing, gigs and drinks. I'm also really looking forward to my relaxing summer holiday in Monaco."
