Rachel has a BSc in Human Biology and Forensic Science from Keele University.
Rachel joined Lucideon following three years working as a Pharmaceutical Microbiologist at Helvic Laboratories, a QC micro testing lab (2013-2016).
At Lucideon she has the role of Senior Microbiologist, supporting the management of the microbiology laboratory operation, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies. Rachel's role includes testing samples, including method validations, in addition to improving/developing systems to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the laboratory.
Rachel also has work experience in experimental drugs at the Botnar Research Centre, Oxford University and has completed a Human Identification Course from the University of Tennessee. She is also a Member of the Royal Society of Biology (MRSB).
