Extended Hygrothermal Performance Testing Capabilities
As a result of demand, we’ve extended our hygrothermal performance testing capabilities with the installation of a fifth hygrothermal chamber; this takes our capacity from 8 walls to 10. The existing four chambers have also been upgraded to carry out wet/freeze cycles in accordance with BS EN 16383. We can provide External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICS) testing for the complete performance requirements of ETAG 004, ETAG 017, ETAG 034, EAD 090062-00-0404, EAD 040287-00-0404, CWCT Standards, M.O.A.T. 22 and customized programmes.

NHBC and the Use of Magnesium Oxide (MgO) Building Boards As of 30 April 2020, the NHBC are no longer permitting the use of MgO building boards on buildings where the foundations are begun on or after this date. Therefore, alternative boards such as cement, cement fibre and calcium silicate boards should be specified. We are able to test alternative boards to both EN 12467 and customized programs, to assess their mechanical, structural and environment properties.
