As coatings can provide a high level of functionality to products, such as bioactivity, biocompatibility, lubrication and antibacterial properties, they must perform optimally.

Our experts provide detailed analysis and method development to ensure your coating applications are consistent and adequate.  We measure the chemical, mechanical and microstructural properties of the materials – validating both the process and the product for regulatory submissions.  And, using our extensive experience and existing development platforms, we will work with you to develop next generation coating technologies.

We work routinely with metal (e.g. Ti), ceramic (e.g. hydroxyapatite) and polymer (e.g. PEEK) coatings, for both regulatory submissions and quality control.  Some of our most popular tests include:
