Lucideon to Exhibit at the AAOS Annual Meeting 2017
Lucideon is exhibiting at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) Annual Meeting, held between the 14-18th March 2017.
Lucideon is a leading provider in materials and process development, testing and consultancy services both in the UK and USA. It prides itself on understanding the technical implications of the performance properties of materials and products, and how to overcome challenges, rather than just providing data to our customers.
The AAOS provides education and practice management services for orthopaedic surgeons and allied health professionals. The meeting will bring together professionals from more than 600 different companies from around the world to exhibit their products, provide demonstrations and answer any questions you may have.
Gemma Budd, Business Leader, Healthcare, Lucideon, said:
"AAOS 2017 will give the industry a great platform to learn what the latest product and service offerings are for the market. It's always great to get similarly minded people together because it helps create a real buzz and enthusiasm as well as giving everyone the opportunity to meet and mingle.
"We offer orthopaedic manufacturers a full range of services from materials selection, to product development, to wear and fatigue testing. Our dedicated labs and expert healthcare team can help improve and assure performance levels as well as testing for things like biocompatibility, leaching and cleanliness. We'll be exhibiting at AAOS 2017 on booth 1861 and will be available to discuss how we can benefit partners in the orthopaedic industry."
Lucideon's orthopaedic wear testing department has invested in the latest gold standard simulators and tests to ISO and ASTM standards. Its laboratories are run by expert scientists and engineers and are supported by state-of-the-art chemical and surface analysis departments offering complementary techniques. Lucideon is fully ISO 17025 accredited.
