Microbiology Delivery Manager
Rachel has a BSc in Human Biology and Forensic Science from Keele University, is working towards an MSc in Science and is a Member of the Royal Society of Biology (MRSB).
At Lucideon she has the role of Microbiology Delivery Manager, managing the pharmaceutical microbiology laboratory operation and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies. Rachel's role includes scheduling testing and production of test reports in accordance with the Quality System, in addition to developing systems to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the GMP laboratory. She also provides technical support to sales and customers, and has participated in successful FDA and MHRA audits.
Before joining Lucideon in 2016, Rachel worked as a Pharmaceutical Microbiologist in a QC microbiology lab, performing a variety of method validations and tests including sterility, endotoxin, microbial limits and identifications.
Rachel also has work experience in experimental drugs at the Botnar Research Centre, Oxford University and has completed a Human Identification Course from the University of Tennessee.
