Chemical Analysis
In our extensive and well equipped laboratories, chemical analysis is conducted to:
- Identify unknown materials (filter debris, unidentified raw stock, component that requires repair or replacement, contaminants)
- Verification of composition (commercial-grade dedication per 10CFR50 Appendix B (i.e. bearings, tapes, resins, gaskets, etc.), qualify vendors, verify information on drawings, meet specification, industry and regulatory requirements, support component and system failure investigations, develop new alloys)
- Determine reaction and processing results - identify reaction products, determine if processing has changed the chemistry or surface properties.
