Lucideon to Present and Exhibit at the Materials Research Exchange Conference and Exhibition
Lucideon will be exhibiting and speaking at the 2018 Materials Research Exchange Conference and Exhibition in London, 12-13 March.
The event will promote the richness of UK materials research and innovation, from both industry and academia, providing delegates with the opportunity to see current trends and future innovations.
On stand 76 Lucideon's Advanced Materials & Processes team will showcase their disruptive materials technologies, including Flash Sintering technology and their iCRT platform.
Lucideon's proprietary iCRT platform allows the controlled release of active ingredients over minutes to months, and can be used for a wide range of industry applications, including abuse-deterrent drugs and improved fertilizers.
Flash Sintering technology can lower energy costs and increase manufacturing throughput, while also improving the mechanical and functional properties of materials.
Dr David Pearmain, Flash Sintering business manager, will also be giving a presentation during the conference. In 'Flash Sintering: A Disruptive Technology', he will be talking about the progress the Flash Sintering team has made with particular application to ceramics and the joining of dissimilar materials.
