Lucideon to Take Part in Ceramics Expo 2020
Lucideon will again be exhibiting at this year's Ceramics Expo in Ohio, 5 – 6 May. The focus this year will be on showcasing the processing support that Lucideon offers to help businesses overcome seemingly ‘insurmountable’ materials and process challenges.
As a leading, independent materials and process consultancy, Lucideon works with clients from around the globe to optimize their current processing technologies and implement new ones. In addition to their cross-industry knowledge and materials expertise, the Lucideon team also has a comprehensive range of analytical capabilities and pilot scale processing facilities at their disposal.
Two of the Lucideon team will also be presenting during the show conference. Andrew Perry, ceramic processes leader, will be talking about cross sector ceramics – learning from low margin/high volume production methods to improve efficiency. Richard White, principal consultant, will also be presenting and will provide valuable insight about the role of ceramic matrix composites in future aerospace design.
Mark Dudson, advanced materials & processes business manager at Lucideon, will also be present at the show. He said:
"We're looking forward to meeting with both new and existing clients during Ceramics Expo. Our business is all about building relationships with our clients to find out what their processing and materials challenges are, and then to help them solve them quickly and efficiently. From materials development to sintering, and from additive manufacturing to yield improvement, we can help." Lucideon is also running its renowned Refractories training courses during Ceramics Expo week for a second year, at the Crowne Plaza Cleveland airport hotel. ‘An Introduction to Refractories & Refractory Testing' will run on Monday 4 May and 'Refractories for the Glass Industry' will take place on Thursday 7 & Friday 8 May.
