CICS Verifies Icelandair’s Emissions for EU ETS
Icelandair, the prestigious flag carrier airline of Iceland, to independently verify its emissions data for the EU Emissions Trading Scheme.
Aviation has been included in EU ETS since January 2010 with the first verified reports having to be submitted by the fast-approaching deadline of 31 March 2011.
Icelandair aims to be both the preferred airline to and from Iceland and an attractive choice for North Atlantic travel, and is committed to providing safe and efficient air travel and unique services. As part of its Environmental Policy, Icelandair offers all of its passengers the chance to offset their flights through the Iceland Carbon Fund.
