Aviation has been included in EU ETS since January 2010 with the first verified reports having to be submitted by the fast-approaching deadline of 31 March 2011.

As part of its Environmental Policy, Icelandair offers all of its passengers the chance to offset their flights through the Iceland Carbon Fund.
