Working on this ground-breaking technology development project we have the multidisciplinary Field Enhanced Sintering team, headed by project leader Dr David Pearmain.

Dr David Pearmain, Head of Field Enhanced SinteringDr David Pearmain

David has a PhD in Nanophysics, the work for which involved an effort with industrial partners to design efficient structural screening techniques of Palladium catalyst particles. David heads our Field Enhanced Materials Processing team.

Dr Andre Prette: Technical ManagerDr Andre Prette

Andre is a Materials Engineer with a MEng Degree in Semiconducting Ceramics. He has a PhD on synthesis and sintering behaviour of ceramics for Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFC), more specific on Field Enhanced Sintering of ceramic materials. Andre has worked as a researcher at University of Bayreuth, Germany carrying out research and executing projects on Polymer Derived Ceramics. His materials expertise and extensive experience in flash sintering technology allows him to develop new technologies and applications and acts as a technical translator and designer for the exploitation of Field Enhanced Sintering.

Dr Chris Green: Senior Electrical Design EngineerDr Chris Green

Chris holds a BEng in Electrical Engineering and PhD focusing on nanostructured polymer materials. With experience managing an international R&D project in the power transmission sector, Chris is the Electrical Design Engineer, and responsible for the electronic controls softare and designing hardware components for any given application.

Dr Aminat Bolarinwa: Senior Materials EngineerDr Aminat Bolarinwa

Aminat holds a MEng Degree in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering and a PhD in the formulation of a bioresponsive ceramic bone replacement. With significant experience of formulating and sintering bioceramics, Aminat works on the processing of advanced ceramic materials and the effects of sintering atmospheres.

Andrea Sansone: Development EngineerAndrea Sansone

Andrea has BSc in Mechanical Engineering, and a Master's Degree in Materials Engineering. He has experience within the area of field enhanced sintering, where he worked for one year at the University of Colorado developing the flash sintering technology. He is combining his mechanical and materials skills to help with technology development and to act as a bridge between Lucideon and our clients. He is responsible for scoping project ideas and seeing these through to commercialization.

Russell Bannerman: Senior Mechanical EngineerRussell Bannerman

Russell has as B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering. He has worked in a variety of industries and has wide range of experience designing remote operated equipment for extreme environments in the oil & gas and nuclear industry. Russell has experience in R&D, testing, bespoke machine design and project engineering and is the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. He will be working on process control and design, all the way from development to manufacturing scale processes for any given application.
