Lucideon Adds New Sanitaryware Module to 2016 Ceramic Whitewares Training Schedule
Lucideon is pleased to announce the addition of a new module, an ‘Introduction to Sanitaryware’ to its 2016 Ceramic Whitewares Training Schedule. The new module will take place on Monday 12 December at Lucideon’s Stoke-on-Trent headquarters.
The ‘Introduction to Sanitaryware’ module has been designed for sanitaryware manufacturers and suppliers who need to understand the technical requirements of manufacturing processes; it’s aimed at quality control personnel, Trainee Production Managers, Technical Managers and Outsourcing Managers.
The module examines all of the relevant processes that can be found in a typical sanitaryware factory and will look at raw materials, plaster moulds, slip casting, drying, glazing, firing and testing.
Caroline Mullington, Technology Partner Manager, Lucideon, said:
“We’re excited to round off the 2016 Ceramic Whitewares Training Schedule with the sanitaryware module; it covers every aspect of the vitreous china manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished products.
“We’re also running a complimentary advanced Pressure Casting module on Tuesday 18 October. This module will review, in detail, the most up-to-date and commonly used casting production system in the sanitaryware and tableware industries.”
