Lucideon Welcomes the Newest Member of the Field Enhanced Sintering Team
Lucideon is pleased to announce the arrival of Russell Bannerman, who joins the Field Enhanced Sintering (FES) team, working on the innovative technology that sinters ceramics and other materials at greater throughputs while reducing costs.
Russell joins the team as Senior Mechanical Engineer and will be working on process control and design, all the way from development to manufacturing scale processes for any given application.
Dr David Pearmain, Head of Field Enhanced Sintering, said:
“It’s good to have Russell on board to add to our in house capabilities and skill set. He comes with a wealth of experience from numerous industries and is no stranger to working on complex problems and finding novel solutions. He will be thrown right in at the deep end as the technology is at an exciting stage with a lot of projects and developments.
“The technology itself can have great implications for a number of industries and primarily for the ceramics sector in reducing production times and costs as well as the space needed for the sintering process as the technology is much more compact than traditional methods.”
