Ceram at Middle East Petrotech 2010
Ceram was one of the companies picked to give a paper at the Middle East Petrotech 2010 Conference that took place in May in Bahrain.
Jan Theron, one of Ceram's refractory consultants, talked about 'Correct Refractory Selection and Installation Strategies for Low Temperature Vessels' as part of the Conference programme that focused on Plant Reliability and Maintenance Technologies.
Ceram offers many services to the petrochemical industry including: quality inspections and testing of materials ordered, quality control and assurance of installations, independent inspections of deteriorated linings, optimal design assessment by Finite Element Analysis
and failure analysis, as well as refractories training for site employees and overall refractories support.
Paul Myers, Principal Consultant for Refractories at Ceram, says: "The fact that we were chosen to give a paper at this prestigious conference proves the excellent reputation that Ceram has built with clients in the petrochemical industry. Our refractories consultants have been involved in many projects around the world, working with major players in the petrochemical industry."
